Al fresco dining is available again at Burleigh Court Restaurant near Stroud. Outdoor dining at its best with woodfire pizzaand delectable tapas as well as our much-loved Afternoon Tea.
The recent addition to our food offering is Cotswolds Teppanyaki-style dining where you’ll be able to cook at your own table – chefs’ best freshly prepared ingredients the way you want. All with a good bottle of wine or bubbles to celebrate the end of lockdown – we’ll raise a glass to that!
Our two-rosette restaurant will open its doors again on 17 May soon offering nights of foodie heaven again.
Outdoors terrace dining; We are allowed to take group bookings for up to six people from mixed households on the back or front terrace with stunning views over the Golden Valley. Marquees, heaters, blankets and sheepskins will aim to keep you warm but do dress sensibly. Afternoon tea is available around the front terrace fire pits. So grab a friend or two and book your space.
Indoors restaurant dining; Seating is available inside in our historic oak panelled dining room from the 17 May. Indulge in the best local produce the season has to offer here, at Burleigh Court. Traditional recipes with a modern twist, bursting with quality and flavour, are prepared and cooked up pleasing any foodie palate at two-rosette level.
We are committed to serving food from our kitchen garden as part of our locally sourced menu drawing on ingredients within a 30-mile radius. This way we are supporting local suppliers and keeping our carbon footprint low. Some say we serve one of the best Sunday Roasts in the area, others say we have the best desserts in and around Stroud. Whilst one cannot argue taste and every pallet is different, we are certain to deliver quality and flavoursome food combined with exceptional service.
Our woodfire pizza menu is available Thursdays | Fridays | Saturday evening up to 15 May. The Cotswolds Teppanyaki-style ‘at table cooking’ is available Thursday evenings only and features chef’s best ingredients, all freshly prepared to cook at your own table. Our a la carte menu will be available again from 17 May onwards.
Dining with a view
Tables are available in our historic oak panelled restaurant or you can choose outdoor eating on our front terrace where you can enjoy the spectacular views over the Golden Valley. Terrace dining is also available on our back patio with views over the Mediterranean terraced garden. We do take bookings for outside eating on our marquee covered terraces so you can enjoy the best hotel restaurant near Stroud inside and outside all year round.
Sunday Lunch (available from 16 May)
The Sunday Roast Lunch menu at Burleigh Court Restaurant in Stroud (from 23 May) offers locally sourced food for everyone with four delicious roasts including beef, chicken, pork, hake and a vegetarian / vegan option. You will also be able to choose from a seasonal choice of starters and outstanding desserts. A tasty children’s menu is available for our young guests. Burleigh Court is said to be offering one of the best Sunday roasts in and around Stroud and the wider area.
Romantic dining (available from 17 May)
Romantic dining is available every evening in the week so just get in touch to book in for your special date night. You’ll have a cosy table with candles and a three course meal plus a couple of special culinary surprises. The main course will be a classic french Chateaubriand or a whole fresh fish to share*. Chateaubriand is the prized cut from the fillet head, full of flavour, soft and tender. The fresh fish depends on the catch of the day and can either be Sea Bass or Brill. We are also able to cater for those of you who prefer a vegetarian or vegan cuisine. Do call us to discuss your options. We look forward to hearing from you. Romantic dinners are available on a 48hr advance notice pre-book, pre-pay basis | Price per couple £99 for a three course meal including a glass of bubbly on arrival.
There is no formal dress code; just make yourselves at home.
