During the wild food foraging, which last around three hours, we will be identifying, picking, and eating a number of delicious plants. There will be discussion around seasonal eating, the nutritional values and medicinal use of plants. We will also look at the conservation of species and their habitats, what to take and what to leave.  And of course, there’s the identification and storage of wild food, delicious recipes, and lots, lots more.

The group meets in the hotel lounge for an introduction over coffee or tea followed by a foraging walk and a two-course lunch back at the hotel prepared by head chef Shaun.

Bring a flask of hot water with you to make your own herbal tea as we forage leaves, flowers etc when we’re outside.

Timing: 5 hours including introduction, foraging and lunch.
