COVID-19 Measures: our efforts to keep you safe
We want to reassure you that, at Burleigh Court, the safety of our guests and team is our top priority during such a time as this. We are doing everything we can to follow the COVID-19 Government’s guidelines for safety in our manor house hotel.
We hugely appreciate your efforts to support our safety measures, by keeping your distance, wearing face coverings and using hand santisers at every opportunity – by working at this together we can all play our part in creating a safe and welcoming environment.
We are in Gloucestershire and currently in Tier 2. This means that no households can mix indoors unless it is your immediate family, support bubble or for business.
Air purifying HEPA filters in public areas | We have UV HEPA filters purifying air in our restaurant and all public areas as an extra measure to keep you safe. HEPA filtration captures and removes airborne particles. VOCs UV-C light kills germs, bacteria, and viruses.
Rule of six |no households can mix indoors unless it is your immediate family, support bubble or for business. However, we have ample of safe outdoor dining space available and take bookings for lunch, afternoon tea and dinners for up to six people of mixed households.
Service hours | Last orders will be taken at 10pm, but the restaurant and bar areas will not close until 11pm.
Face Coverings | In addition to all guests being required to wear face coverings when in transition through public areas, all of our teams will also be wearing face-masks.
NHS Test and Trace | Our NHS Test and Trace poster will be displayed at the front door. If you have the NHS COVID-19 app you can quickly and easily scan the QR code. If you do not have the App, we will be asking every guest (not just the lead guest) to leave their details so that we can submit these to NHS Test and Trace. The guidance is if there is more than one person in a booking, then you can record the name of the ‘lead member’ of the group (of up to 6 people) and the number of people in that group.
Room cancellations | If we are unable to trade due to government restrictions we will offer you to move your booking to a date next year of a refund. Should you be unable to travel due to COVID-19 please let us as soon as possible. If your cancellation occurs on short notice and not within your rate’s cancellation period, we will offer you a transfer of our booking free of charge to any available date within a period of six month. If you have been put into Tier 3 and cannot travel, we will offer you a booking transfer or refund.
