Indulge in the best local produce the season has to offer. Our award-winning, two-rosette restaurant offers consistently good food full of quality and bursting flavour. Sourcing locally is important to us so we’re using fresh local ingredients that’ll make your taste buds tingle. These include a wealth of locally reared meats and game as well as vegetables from our own kitchen garden and foraged produce. All are put together skillfully and served up deliciously by a dedicated kitchen team lead by head chef Shaun Jones.

All the staff were great but additional praise to Jonathan who particularly made our party feel special. Special praise for the chips too which were a hit with everyone! One of our guests did suggest that a proper toilet for the disabled on the ground floor would be good.

Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone for afternoon tea. The food was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome. The setting of this hotel is stunning and a lovely place to sit and relax on a sunny afternoon or evening.

Thanks! We had a super vegan afternoon tea for a birthday celebration. The service was excellent and friendly, the location and whole look of the surroundings are beautiful, and it was one of the best vegan afternoon teas that any of us have had. With the food, we particularly liked that the savoury selection was way more interesting than sandwiches. I’ve recommended to a few people already and will definitely return.

We had a fabulous afternoon tea and were lucky to have a lovely sunny day so we could sit on the terrace and enjoy the views. Highly recommend and will be returning.
